“Patient instructor”

The instructor at Royal Hawaiian was patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. He taught us the basics of how to surf (on the beach), then patiently waited as we attempted to follow those instructions out on the waves. Hotel Hana-Maui impressed us on all levels, and we really look forward to going back. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night - but when we return, we'll stay at least two nights, if not longer.
