I stayed here when on a business trip to London and found it to be satisfactory. The room was in the basement but nice enough with a very comfortable bed and and a clean and reasonably stylish bathroom. We didn't take breakfast but it looked fine on the table. The staff were a wee bit chaotic, but helpful none the... more

This was booked as a secret TOP Hotel via last min.com Thinking we were going for 4 Stars- we would have a clean and comfortable room? What a shock to the system- especially that we had to sleep in a room which must have been heated up to at least 30 degrees C!!! Aircon was not working and window could... more

From the outside of the hotel we thought we has struck gold! However, as soon as we entered our bedrooms we realised how much this place had been misrepresented on the website. Away for a girly weekend, we had booked 3 standard double rooms... However, nowhere in the description were we told about the peeling wallpaper, damp in bedrooms, lack... more

Having read the reviews before travelling to London,we were appalled and tried to cancel our Hotel booking. However, we were very pleasantly suprised. The room on the third floor was lovely. VERY clean, and nicely decorated and everything was in working order. The staff were very polite and helpful. The situation of the hotel was ideal for the Proms and... more

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights, I booked this hotel with travelstay.com, they charged us GBP 146.50, when we arrived at the hotel the gentleman at the reception led us down to this very narrow room 009, "dont know how I manage to get my very small flight hand luggage down there, "if your size 16... more

Just went to London for the W/E – and booked the hotel via the net – suppose to be rated a 4 star hotel…. What an experience this hotel was. The rooms were small - and it seems that they have not been upgraded for the last 30 – 40 years. The wall paper was coming off – spider webs... more

We stayed for 1 night (thanks God!). We were attending a big Corporate Event in London. We booked an Executive double room. I was very surprised by being sent down to the basement. It was the hotest day of July. The room had no air conditioning (despite being advertised on the website) and the windows were locked, and if you... more

Having looked through some of the reviews here before we went, I wasn't sure what to expect. Yes, the rooms are small, but it's London! Our room was spotless, and the decor decidedly un-shabby. Didn't eat the hotel breakfast but you're surrounded by some very nice little cafes, which do a good takeaway or sit in breakfast, and the proximity... more

This has quite possibly got to be the worst hotel ever. Stained carpet, half size bathroom, dirty bedding, strange smells, unhelpful staff, this hotel has it all. DO NOT be fooled by pictures you may see on the website this hotel is nothing like that in real life. more

We made our reservations online through Orbitz. the site was describes WITH AIR CONDITIONING. This may not seem important to many, but when you are in the midst of HOT FLASHES, air conditioning takes on a new meaning. It clearly stated air conditioning in the description. When we arrived, the lift was out. No bagmen were employed and we were... more
