We recently started a round the world trip visiting London and staying in this hotel. I just can say that the highlights were: 1.- Location. We were at walking distance to many of the “classic” attraction of London. At the other hand it was about 7 minutes walking of the tube (Victoria Station). That was more than enough for us!... more

The hotel has an fabulous location - on a quiet/pretty street (where there are a number of small hotels) in the Belgravia section of London. While my sixteen year old daughter and I walked virtually everywhere we wanted to go (e.g., the National Gallery, Courtauld Gallery, and the British Museum - as well as the streets of London to get... more

What a great little hotel in the heart of the city. Astors was about a ten minute walk from Victoria Station and all 11 of us did it with ease with all of our luggage. The rooms are very clean and have a very fresh bright decor. The breakfast was not fancy but adequate to start your day - toast,... more

I really liked this hotel. The only thing I didn't like was hoisting my bags to the top floor, other than that everything was very pleasant. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the service was great. The concierge was more than helpful and whenever asked a question about a tourist site would give us a pamphlet and print... more

I booked the hotel online and the rate was reasonable cheap as it is very near to the Victoria Station. Though is a bit small but tourist attraction is within walking distance. We walk to Buckingham Palace the moment I checked in. Breakfast can be improved to full english breakfast although current continental is OK. One thing they need to... more

I stayed in Astors for 2 weeks (while looking for accommodation in London) and when I got there I was pleasantly surprised with the nice decor of the rooms. I stayed in other London hotels, but I could see this was recently refurbished. first week I had a single room, which had lowered ceiling and the size was so tiny... more

Everything was very clean, the room was comfortable, new and smart (a bit small, but it was ok). We got very comfortable beds and a nice LCD TV. The location (Ebury Street) is just great and the breakfast was very good. The staff was gentle and we paid only 60 pounds/night for the twin room (low season, babe!). If i... more

The Astors Victoria is a lovely little hotel - More a number of houses joined together. Our room was lovely - not big but just about right. It was my wife and I's first stay in London and the staff were helpful in pointing out a few must see attractions. Breakfast in the morning is a help yourself continental breakfast... more

This is a hard one to review. Being a skinflint I often look for an inexpensive but clean hotel to stay in for the odd night when staying in London for a concert (Bruce Springsteen this time!!). Astors (not to be confused with a similarly named hostel near Victoria Station) is located in Ebury Street in Belgravia a very smart... more

My wife and I stayed at the Astors Hotel in London for three nights in early September. I stumbled across their website while looking for reasonably-priced accommodations for a decent-sized room with air conditioning. By booking two weeks prior to your stay, you can save an extra 15 pounds a night. We paid 74 instead of the standard 89. The... more
