Wonderful location so close to town centre - parking available so you don't have to worry about the car. The bedroom was tastefully decorated - cosy & warm with everything you need in the bathroom. Like staying at a quality hotel. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. Totally recommend the fruit salad & smoked salmon.... more

This B&B Puts many other establishments including some Hotels to shame, it is a superb guest house run by professionals with experience of what the "customer" wants, nothing is to much trouble, food is perfect and plentifull, rooms very clean and well furnished, in fact you could sum it up as "It does what is says on the Tin", My... more

Chestnuts is a short walk from the town centre. We enjoyed the room and facilities and Tony's delicious breakfasts. It was great to be able to use their internet so that we could contact my family back home in Perth. Tony linked me up to the Thermae Day Spar and kept my voucher for six months until we arrived. We... more

I am so glad I found Chestnuts House for a weekend away with my mum to do some Christmas shopping. We had a great weekend and the guesthouse is in the perfect location - a very short walk from the city centre/shops, so nice and quiet and not too far after a hard day's shopping. We had a lovely room... more

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in late November. Our room was tastefully decorated, light and airy. It was also spotlessly clean. It's in a quiet location and just a few minutes stroll into the very heart of Bath. The choice and quality of our freshly prepared breakfasts far exceeded our previous experiences of B&Bs throughout the UK.... more

Breakfasts were served in the conservatory and were cooked to order and again were excellent. On our 1st night we went to No 5 which is a French restaurant and tround 10 mins stroll from The Chestnuts and... more

We had some problems with our rental car and staff and owner were very helpful. Tony gave us a great tip about the free walking tour of Bath offered by the Mayor's... more

Situated in a quiet road. We stayed for one night only purely because the other three we wanted were fully booked. We had a three person room at the back overlooking the garden which was bright, and comfortable and very clean, as was all that we saw at the guesthouse. The breakfast room was particularly bright and airy looking out... more
