We stayed here before and after our cruise. Booked it based on other Trip Advisor comments. We were not disappointed. Took the Aerobus from the airport to Catalunya and walked to the hotel. Great location. Would definitely go back to this hotel. more

The hotel is right behind the pricey "Hotel Colon." It's on a quiet street right off the main plaza. Everything was in very close proximity - we felt like we were in the middle of it all. Also, it's about a 10 minute walk from where the airport shuttle lets off. I would definitely go back to this hotel. more

The Regencia Colon is a great budget option if you want to be situated in the heart of the Barri Gotic. The hotel itself is located right behind its more expensive sibling, the Colon so it is just steps from the Cathedral Plaza. The Regencia Colon was close to most things I needed. You can walk to the waterfront, Las Ramblas, or even the Sagrada Familia. The staff were friendly and helped with booking some days trips for me. more

The best part of this hotel is its location, especially given the price. It's located directly behind its more expensive big brother the Hotel Colon, and they share many of the same items (towels, toiletries). The Regencia is probably one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The staff were extremely helpfull and nothing was too much trouble for them.
