The Banys Oriental is in the (old town) Ribera district of Barcelona and is very handy for the Picasso Museum and the other museums that occupy that street. It is also easy walking distance from the Ramblas. The hotel is not huge and is a refurbished old building decorated in a cool, calm and modern style with a confident touch.... more

Stayed at shis hotel for 3 nights Very nice helpfull staf and very friendly. Very clean room and big shower nice airco and plasma tv . safe in the room and bottles of drinkwater in de corridor for guests for free!!!!! I will come here again for sure . Great location in regards to being able to walk eveywhere. If you are driving, insist on the hotel sending you instructions/map on where to park- its all one way streets or inaccessible streets and you will spend a lot of time trying to figure out the jumble of old streets just to get to the hotel. Stayed here May 24-26th, and i cant believe how inexpensive it is compared to everything else around. It is about a 5 minute walk to the Barcelona Cathedral, Picasso Musuem, or Las Ramblas.
