The Quattro Fontane was lovely. It's like a country house in an old Italian resort area on the island of Lido. We were skeptical at first...we ended up at the Albergo only because the hotels in Venice were OUTRAGEOUS (IE $650/night for a 4*). My wife and I spent four days at this lovely hotel. The restaurant staff were very friendly. The room was very clean and all public rooms also, beds turned down in evening and clean towels twice daily. On the down side just be aware the bicycle hire from the hotel[ancient] 10 euros each per day. Check days charged for??????? No... more

We stayed at the Quattro Fontane for our honeymoon in October and we were very impressed. The hotel has phenomenal artwork collected over many decades by the owners and the rooms are rich in character.
