This place was a great find, the owners are friendly and welcoming (greeted us with a drink each when we arrived even though it was almost 11.30pm). Our (double) room overlooked the canal and it was lovely to watch the boats and gondola's gliding past. Unlike some other reviews we didn't have any trouble finding it with the directions sent... more

My friend and I (both 23 years old) stayed here for 5 nights and found this a little gem amongst all of the other overpriced places to stay in Venice. After an initial problem with the booking (we booked online at hostelbookers.com and wanted a twin room, but there seemed to be some confusion about whether it was a double... more

We knew Venice was going to be expensive and we weren't going to get the same value for money as in other Italian cities. We arrived at the hotel rather easily - even though other reviews had said it was hard to find. They sent us very good directions and Google Maps helped a great deal - we printed off... more

My friend and I loved staying here! It is brilliantly located between St Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge and the staff are incredibly hospitable. We mainly chose the hotel on the strength of the great reviews of the breakfast and it didn't disappoint-warm croissants and bread rolls with jam or nutella, gorgeous omlettes, yoghurt, juice and tea or coffee-quite... more

My wife and I stayed here in late March. This was one of the best places to stay in Venice. Nicola was wonderful --- very friendly and makes a great breakfast every morning. The location of the B&B is perfect as it is only 5 or 6 minutes from Rialto Bridge and maybe 10 minutes to San Marco. Relatively easy... more

It took me almost 3 hours on foot to find this place but that was because I forgot the map Nicola sends you when you book. Please please remember to bring this piece of information or else you will get lost! It's in an excellent location - 10 minutes to San Marco, Fondamental Nove (for Murano and Burano Islands) and... more

i stayed here in sep 2006 and concur 100% with my fellow canuck. i can't add much else except to say that if you call them upon your arrival, someone will meet you at the vaporetto stop and take you to the b&b which is indeed quite difficult to find even with a map, especially if you have never been... more

If you read the other review of this place TOSS IT cuz this place is in VENICE not Florence!! I did indeed fall in love with it. This B&B is old, inside and out. Even the doorknobs are 700 years old(dear little babies in peapods??!!). The furnishings were lovely and romantic. There were many nice antiques and the rooms were... more

We were a little leary when we saw the outside but quickly fell in love with the plac.e A short distance from the famous David, with ample room, a small kitchen where we cooked and then ate out on a beautiful porch within the confines of Florence. The rooms were air conditioned and close to almost anything you wanted to... more
