The Albion is close to the Menin Gate, and has excellent rooms, staff & breakfast. (Doesn't provide other meals, but there are lots of restaurants close by). Street parking is easy. A good centre for first world war experiences and research. Strongly recommended. more

We spent two nights at the Albion as part of a tour of the Somme and Ypres-Salient. When we first tried to make the booking, the hotel was full, but they had a cancellation and the owner emailed me personally to offer us the room, which was much appreciated. The room was lovely, very clean and spacious. Breakfast was very... more

This is a lovely hotel, right in the heart of Ypres. We stayed in three adjacent rooms to accomodate, as requested, my daughters, father and my wife and I. They were comfortable, spacious and the shower rooms were more than adequate. The heating is fine too, for anyone staying in winter. Car parking is available for free over the road.... more

We only stayed for 1 night and could easily have slept 2 to a room as there was plenty of space. My bathroom was a wet room; very novel and the first one I have encountered for quite a few years. Shower time was fun! The hotel is in a good position within Ypres and free car parking is available... more

This was our fifth visit to the Albion in Ypres and the hotel is still run to the same high standards as we experienced on our first visit. The welcome was friendly and we were shown to our rooms with a minimum of fuss. The room was large, clean and comfortable with ample space to pack things away.Towels were provided... more

Location is excellent for exploring Ypres and the surrounding areas, with a lot of war museums close by. My friends and i travelled by motorcycles, and there was secure parking at the rear of the Hotel. If you stay here, do yourself... more

It was comfortable , clean and friendly and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. It is very convenient for the Cloth Hall, Menen Gate and all the other sights of Ieper.... more

My wife and I had just started our five week touring holiday of Europe and we called in at the Albion hotel looking for a room for the night. We could not have asked for a better start to our holiday. Christina, the owner, made us very welcome to the point were we felt like old friends. The hotel is... more
