We stayed at this property for 4 nights. The location is good and we had the Suite Three. We enjoyed the sunny terrace. The suite was clean, but the owners need to invest in some plumbing repairs. The Staff has perfected the art of hosting. They anticipate your needs and have great suggestions on what to see in Morocco. Overall... more

We stayed at Riad Zolah for 4 nights just before Christmas - December 15 - 19th and had a fantastic time The Riad is amazing, service is the best I have ever had. Ismail and Aziz made us feel very welcome and were very helpful. Ismial booked us trips to the mountains, transfers to Essourira and even arrange another riad... more

After all the reviews we were very disappointed in our stay. The staff does try to please but there is a frenetic disorganized ambiance about the place. It claims to be a few minutes from the center but it is actually quite hard to find and one can get very lost going around in circles. They loan you a mobile... more

Management response from
riad_zolah, Owner

It is always of concern to learn that we have failed to live up our reputation with guests. But on this occasion - for the first time - we are prompted to respond, as this reviewer's main complaints are bizarre in the extreme. The guest seemed particularly concerned with the "money minded" owner (that would be me!) and the poor...

The customer service is top notch. They'll treat you royally! We were able to check in early (11:30) and were offered mint tea and Moroccan little pastries. Our room was actually more beautiful than the photos in the riad’s website, normally it’s the opposite. The bed was magnificent! My only complaint is the noise in our room coming from the... more

We have just come back from a short break in Morocco. After a week in Essaouira we spent 2 nights at Riad Zolah before flying back home. After reading previous reviews we were not disappointed and we particularly appreciated the service we received. The management and staff could not do enough; one of the highlights- watching DVD's in our room... more

Friendly staff and basic comfort, but the plumbing is awful. The drains emitted extremely unpleasant sewer odors that really ruined our "romantic" break. Spraying perfume around the bathrooms and courtyard only made the situation worse. The owners need to invest in some serious plumbing repairs. more

Our stay in Marrakech was brief, only 2 days, and without question it has been the the best two days I have experienced in a very long time, possibly ever yet! Both the richness of wonderful Marrakech and the complete indulgence of Riad Zolah means that I have come home wishing I had never left! The service at Riad Zolah... more

Riad Zolah is all you read ... and more. A truly wonderful, calm exotic getaway which I cannot recommend highly enough. Ismail and co are extremely courteous, helpful and professional and couldn't do enough for us. Marrakech is crazy and this Riad is a complete escape from the hustle and bustle of the streets and sooks. It was a joy... more

We went here for my 50th Birthday treat, in Nov 08. What more can I say, that has not already been said about this wonderful place - read these reviews, they are all TRUE. If you are going to Marrakech, " all aboard", as the song goes, you must stay here. The staff are attentive, not at all intrusive, and... more

After a 4 night stay, I cant reccomend the Riad Zola highly enough. The staff were all excellent - friendly, helpful and polite. The building itself is magnificent, the common areas well furnished, tastefull, inviting and well maintained, Our room was really comfortable, the real wood fire was a great feature and it quickly felt like home. We ate in... more
