We booked Rimping Village through the hotel website. They included a hotel transfers with the room, which was very convenient. The room was spacious and clean with cable TV, a shower (no tub), bottled water, tea and coffee provided. The pool was right outside the room and offered a nice diversion for part of the day. Breakfast was also good... more

This was a fabulous place to stay for a low key few dyas in Chaing Mai. The hotel knew it was our honeymoon and collected us from the airport in a lovely people carrier, welcomed us at reception with a complimentary fresh fruit juice, gave us some tips and ideas of activities to do in Chang Mai, whilst pointing out... more

The best customer service, the cleanest rooms, the free bikes ,the pool, the great restaurant, the great breakfast, the free pickup/return to airport, the amazing location..... personal escorts by staff via bicycle to best curry soup (secret spot-where the staff eat). I am a motel owner myself -and this Hotel definitely lives up to it's #1 ranking on this site. Hello-to all of the... more

The Rimping Village is good. Not poor, not okay, not great, but good. The staff are very good. The rooms are good. The pool is okay. The restaurant is overpriced and disapppointing - not good. The extras - laundry, coffees, ice, snacks etc. are expensive and not good. The location is quite good. A decent place to stay. In a... more

My husband & I have just returned home to the Central Coast of NSW, Australia after a much earned holiday in Thailand. We spent 4 nights in Bangkok and was due to fly to Chiang Mai to stay at Rimping Village for 4 nights. With the airport being closed by the protesters we were unable to fly so decided to... more

I have been with my wife in this hotel I rate as perfect. The structure is very nice and very well mantained. Everyone of the hotel friendly and smiling. In my tour in Thailand it was the best hotel I have been in and the value for money is simply excellent! more

We had a great stay at the Rimping Hotel. We stayed at another hotel out of town for 3 nights and then had 3 nights in town at the Rimping. We were glad that we had decided to do this - best of both worlds. As the other reviews have indicated, lovely staff, rooms, pool and close to Night Bazaar... more

Well, talk about getting good information from TripAdvisor! I don't think I've stayed at too many places that live up to the outstanding reviews they get on sites like this, but I have to say ( which is why I'm writing this) that this hotel was perfect in every way. Very clean, big rooms, beautiful pool, and a restuarant that... more

I really can't disagree with any of the reviews. Although the hotel is outside of the main town it is only a few minutes walk to the night markets and several really high quality riverside restaurants. It is in a peaceful little side street with some great local bars and a supermarket nearby. We got a huge room for some... more
