Nice, older Inn right in the center of town. You couldnt ask for a better location. Some rooms have a/c, others don't. I was on the 4th floor with no a/c and regret making that choice. If its warm out, watch out. My studio room was on the smaller size, but my co workers room was almost twice a big,... more

The B & B was nice but not up to the price I thought. The mattress we had was not the best, but the room was nice. The staff tried to be helpful when asked. It would be hard to beat the location as the hotel was a couple of blocks from main street. Almost everything was within walking distance.... more

Well, I was really quite pleasantly surprised upon arriving at the JC House. I was traveling on business and my partner joined me. It was a short walk from the ferry (which we took from Hyannis $60 roundtrip) (we stayed at the America's Best Value Two thumbs up for that cheap hotel -- see that review I will write next).... more

We stayed in another B&B first and then had to move to the Jared Coffin House. It is run as an upscale hotel, however, it is a disappointment. The breakfast is pastries and coffee; that's it! Do not stay in room 311. We knew ahead of time it was not airconditioned. However, it is on a corner that is extremely... more

We wanted 2 rooms for 2 nights. We booked 2 rooms for Monday night. There was only one room available for Tuesday night which we also booked. When we got back to the hotel Tues night we were told our reservation had been cancelled and a credit issued for Tues night. They were full and had no room for us.... more

This was our first time at Jared Coffin house and we loved it. The prices were good, our room was spacious and comfortable, and the location is great - right in town. We also like the fresh baked goods for breakfast. We'll definitely stay here again during our next trip to the island. more

The Jared Coffin House used to be a classy & fun place to stay at - I stayed there for over 30 years. The dining facilities ( which are no more, now closed ) used to be great - a great Restaurant " Jareds " & Tap Room. The hotel has changed owners recently & has a totally different character... more

In the middle of bustling Nantucket, the Jared Coffin House is a lovely retreat. My queen sized room in the Annex, which is historic also, was comfortable and spacious with AC, Cable, and very large bath. The Decor was VERY New England whaling, with lovely prints on the wall. Coffee and pastries in the parlor next to an extremely efficient and friendly... more

My husband and I just spent a long weekend in Nantucket at the Jared Coffin House and had a delightful stay. We were given a corner room in the main house with a full sized four poster bed, a spotless room and bathroom with plenty of towels. Our room did not have A/C but they supplied a quiet fan. Since... more

We stayed here for two nights in a family room with husband myself and 4 yr old son. Room was large pull out sofa for boy, canapoy bed nice linens, clean. Building we were in was from 18th century very settled sloped floors, spooky. First night my bathroom door moved a few times. I was told a tale from someone... more
